Lakes in Bangalore crying for maintenance
The Doddanekkundi Lake which is located in the surroundings of Marathalli was once upon time called as “bird watcher’s paradise”.
The excellent presence of beauty of this lake attracted many of the property buyers a decade ago!
However, the scenario remains same no more. The lake stretching across several acres also near Marathalli and many other areas in Bangalore city is filled by sewage water.
The sewage pipe break out has spoiled the beauty of lake and it is turning hazardous for the residents of apartments in Bangalore city.
The issue does not stop here! Recently, there was unauthorized encroachments traced in the surroundings of Marathalli and other such areas.
