Land acquisition process asked to be simplified
Giving an impetus on increase in industrialization process State Government has asked officials to simplify the land acquisition process so that the private investors could get land easily without any hassle.
The need of the hour is to simplify the land acquisition process for industrial units and for that all the development authorities should develop a consensus on the industrial policy Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan said during a meeting here on Wednesday.
He said those officials who unnecessarily create hurdles in transferring land for industrial use should be identified and action should be taken against them. Under the new industrial policy the investors should get basic facilities at the earliest. Delay at any level should be stopped Ranjan said. He informed that for development of Plastic City in Aurriya UPSIDC had acquired 314 acre of land.
The land acquisition process needs to be simplified according to officials as this would speed up a lot of work regarding the development of many offices and other projects. However it has not been stated as how this thing will be carried forward.
