L&T gets Rs 1002 cr worth orders from various segments
Chennai- Larsen & Toubro, India’s top construction company, has secured several new orders worth Rs 1002 crore from various business segments.
L&T has won orders from both domestic and international market worth Rs 742 crore.
Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation has given an order for constructing a 400/230-110 kV AIS substation at Kayathar, Tirunelveli and a 230/110 kV GIS Substation at Guindy, Chennai.
Another major order in domestic front has been received from the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) which involves construction of seven transmission lines of 220 KV and 132 KV at various locations in West Bengal.
Larsen & Toubro, which has secured its place among the leading players of the power transmission and distribution sector in the Gulf, has gained a big order of setting up of a 220 KV, 515 MVA cable system and constructing a 220/66/11 KV substation in Qatar.
The construction giant has also bagged orders worth Rs 260 crore from ongoing projects across various business units.
