Ludhiana MC earns Rs 1.36 crore!
The Municipal Corporation (MC) in Ludhiana earned Rs 1.36 crore from the recent auction of one multi-level parking lot.
In which the corporation earned Rs 1.11 crore from parking lot near old vegetable market and the multi-level parking lot was auctioned for Rs 25.87 lakh.
The zonal officers say that they had received around 16 applications for the parking lot near old vegetable market.
The municipal corporation avoided auctioning from parking space under the elevated road as the accident chances are more.
However, the Ludhiana MC had constructed a 7-storey parking lot with a cost of Rs 32 crore in the year 1992.
Later on residents started parking their vehicles here and now hardly few of the residents who own passes are regularly parking their luxurious cars in this building.
