Madurai to get a new compost yard under JnNURM
Madurai was nowhere away from facing uncleared and overflowing garbage problems.
Whatever might be have been the situations long back. Now, the city has an ambitious target of keeping the city neat and tidy.
With the follow up of maintaining the city, a new compost yard under JnNURM will soon be starting its function.
In this new plant around 350 garbage collection tippers will be dumping the mixed waste into 68-acre yard, thereafter the segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable will be followed up.
