The Maharashtra government has once again asked the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to submit details of completion certificates it had issued to various households under group housing schemes between 2009 and 2012.

In a letter issued on August 12, 2014, M M Patil, additional secretary of the urban development department (UDD) has directed the municipal body to provide the details at the earliest possible. The department had earlier informed the civic body to provide the details but it has not yet received the require clarification on the matter as the letter read.

On June 19, the UDD department had asked the municipal body to submit the details. Under the group-housing scheme, the state government had offered 100 percent exemption on income tax to the builders. The builders were supposed to construct all civic amenities in the housing schemes on their own.

It has not been stated as when the housing scheme completion of certificate will be starting however the first phase work has already commenced. Probably by the end of this year the housing scheme certificates will be provided. The completion issues have been lagging on for a long time.
