MCG asked by the railways to widen road
In order to provide much needed respite to passengers, the railway authorities have asked the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) to widen the road to the city railway station.
The railways are planning to construct new entry and exit gates in the station. Currently, there is lack of parking facilities for vehicles around the station. The railway police do not allow entry of buses in the railway station premises. Private vehicles are allowed to park inside though there is no allotted space for parking.
Under these circumstances, to provide better access to the railway station and to make space for parking, the MCG has been approached to remove the encroachments on its land, which would be essential for widening of the road.
