gurgaonGurgaon- The residents in Gurgaon are at risk as the  Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has seldom lived up to the residents’ expectations.

Despite the city being an upcoming IT hub, the civic  problems in Gurgaon are piling up as the MCG has failed to solve the civic issue problems.

According  to RS Rathee, president of the Gurgaon Citizens’ Council (GCC) said things have seldom changed in the past four years followed by the city’s collapsing infrastructure. Despite this the corporation is still aiming to generate money by imposing taxes.

Currently, MCG covers 44 villages, private builders’ areas and Huda sectors with a jurisdiction of 168 sqkm. With a budget of Rs. 1,000 crore, the MCG has failed to improve the city’s infrastructure  consisting the arterial roads and sewage system.
