Miele India looking at premium home projects
Dhananjay Chaturvedi, Managing Director explains that they have been tying up with key luxury real estate developers, expecting that the real estate sector will pick up after facing a slowdown. He believes that change in fortune of real estate sector will be beneficial for them too. The accumulated sales pipeline from the project development segment is around Rs. 550 crore, which are to be delivered in 2-3 years.
The company also plans to grow through tie-ups with international modular kitchen dealers for retail sales. The company has been selling appliances to hospitals, hotels and pharmaceutical companies. The company is trying to sell to non metros like Chandigarh, Kanpur, Raipur, Coimbatore and Jaipur, besides Kolkata.
