MMRDA to ensure first leg of the Monorail Project

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) officer reported saying that the monorail will start  in November. The State chief secretary, Ratnakar Gaikwad has informed MMRDA to have thorough check before its in the use of the city public to avoid further chaos. The monorail project from Chembur to Wadala is claimed to be ready to be used by the end of May in the year 2012.

Gaikwad also shared few information regarding his lead in the MMRDA’s executive committee along with the chief minister had taken hardly any decision to discontinue the concerned project. PWD has plans for building a bridge in the railway construction. PWD officials to sort out the issue will be holding a meeting in near future. The chief secretary has come forward to take in hand and dispel reports over the projects of MMRDA that are proving a burner resulting in various problems.
