Monsoon brings woes to bad roads in Gurgaon

1 Comment Sub Category:Gurgaon,Municipality Posted On: Jul 17, 2012

The residents of Gurgaon have been repeatedly complaining about the bad road conditions in the city and are apprehensive of the fact that with the coming of monsoons the condition would only get worse.

They have alleged that the departments concerned, i.e., the civic bodies, Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) and Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) have turned a blind eye to the bad roads.

The residents of Sector 12 and Sector 5 are the most vocal about the condition of roads and stated that construction rubble and garbage are being dumped by the roadsides and on the vacant plots.

They allege that the apathy shown by the authorities is going to make things worse as with the start of the rains the situation has worsened the roads with two-wheelers skidding off.
