No play ground for children at east Delhi
The Anand Vihar colony in east Delhi has turned more into a playground area rather than being a residential area itself!
True, the absence of proper playgrounds in this locality has paved way to play on roads for small children.
There are playgrounds in the locality, however they are not big and spacious enough!
Maximum of the parks and playground areas claim to be having cemented pathways and it has space for not more than 5 children to play.
Meanwhile, the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) belonging to several apartments in Delhi have lodged a complaint to construct a play area in all the localities.
When asked about the same issue the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) chief engineer HS Dharamsattu has promised to take the matter seriously.
Localities are meant to be completed when all basic facilities are provided! The fed up residents are looking forward for better infrastructure to be provided.
