Notice issued to HUDA over sewage treatment
The Behrampur and Dhanwapur sewage treatment plants (STP) are unable to clear the sewage of Gurgaon city.
HUDA is responsible for this and has been issued a show cause notice by the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB).
The poor maintenance of the sewage plants came into light after the pollution control board collected the sewage water sample and confirmed the bad quality of treatment.
The plants will get closed if the civic body do not respond within 15 days.
HUDA will take the notice seriously now and have to answer the reason for the high level of BOD mg/l.
