OFC’s running in sewage lines
The optical fibre cables (OFC) are seen running in the sewage lines which is considered as a scam in Bangalore city.
Same was discussed at the recent Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) council meeting.
This came as a astonishing news to the BBMP higher officials and the local area corporators revealed saying around 1,700 km OFC are running in sewage lines in the city.
However, when asked about the legal action to be taken against these illegal OFC operators, BBMP replied saying it would be Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB)’s initiative to take action against them and solve the issues.
