Polythene ban in Jeypore
Jeypore Municipal Council has finally implemented a ban on polythene usage.
However, it is impossible to ban the polythene completely, therefore 40 micron polythene has been declared as minimum level of usage.
This awareness of minimum usage has been highlighted especially in the urban areas in Orissa.
If in case any commercial establishment or consumer is found flouting the polythene usage, Jeypore Municipality Chairperson Geeta Nanda has therefore warned about awarding a stringent punishment.
