Fraud real estate propertiesNoida: In the wake of the rise in property fraud cases and violation of environmental norms, the Noida residents and delegation of home buyers to meet the Uttar Pradesh administration to take strict actions against the violators.

Anuj Singh, an ex-Army officer complained that after he booked a luxury flat in Noida, he found out that the developer’s claim about the layout plan and other formalities were wrong and even the land was not in the name of real estate company.

He added that the developer has refused to give back the hard-earned money and has also declined the promised amenities which were documented while the deal was going on. Whereas there is a clear regulation mentioned by the government, that without sanctioning the layout and building plans, no project can be constructed or developed.

Due to this fraud cases many investors and builders are getting robbed of their hard-earned money. Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway regions have become a dark place for investment , whereas they should be the hot cake for real estate investment in the Delhi-NCR region.

There should be proper transparency, clarity and detailed information uploaded on the official websites of the authorities as well as the developers. The authorities should take care of the fact that for all developers they should put a hoarding on their construction site mentioning the land usage, FAR and total covered area permitted to them for construction.

The MD, of Bhasin Group suggested that there should be a separate call center or vigilance agency for builders. This call center should take care of the projects and the details of the developer or the builder so that an investor can be saved of taking the arduous RTI route to find out the proper information. This will also help the government officials to reply on the RTIs queries.
