Pune to launch ‘Shahar Swachchhata Aarakhada’
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is eagerly waiting to launch total cleanliness project in the city.
However, Shahar Swachchhata Aarakhada (City Sanitation Plan) project is looking forward for the budget adjustments of Rs 600 crore.
The actual cost of this project has been estimated to cost above Rs 3,215.02 crore. The draft of this plan has already been finalized and is forwarded to Centre’s financial assistance wing.
The project will commence once the central government provides helping hand for the local self-governing bodies in order to cope up the infrastructure required.
