Residents forced to dump wastes in open plots!
Ashtalakshmi Nagar residents have learnt to live their lives amidst garbage!
Among lack of basic amenities they are also facing garbage dumping menace for quiet a time.
The residents allege that they are forced to dump their garbage in open plots after rain water stagnates and workers do not turn up for the clearance.
Each street in the surrounding area has an empty plot with an ownership claimed on the plot for dumping garbage.
At a stretch after many days, it becomes impossible for residents to store garbage at home forcing them to dump it in the open places.
The residents now frightened over health hazards want the empty plot owners to either take care of water stagnation or build fences to make it a no entry zone.
