Residents oppose closure of Kaikondrahalli lake
No doubt that Sarjapur road in Bangalore is fast gaining attention from the property buyers, investors and the realty developers.
The locality offers affordable to hi-end apartments at HM Symphony, Sobha Jasmine, Divyasree Elan and many such. These apartments provide best of best facilities luring the property buyers.
However on the darker side life in this locality is getting worse as the Kaikondrahalli lake will anytime be closed. Road widening and temple construction on these roads are planning to grab the lake land.
To put a end to lake land illegal encroachments, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) planned to fence the lake. However, the fencing was opposed and threatened by the anti-social elements.
The residents of Sarjapur road have a different view all together! Residents opposing the closure of lake bed are now demanding a survey for the need of road widening.
People residing in this locality are much concerned about the lake survival and have made it clear to BBMP, that they would not encourage the closure of lake bed at any cost!
