Roads filled by potholes and cracks

It’s not more than a year since several road has been laid down in New Delhi and the citizens have commenced submitting huge list of complaints.

The condition of roads have turned worse paving way for worried commuting in the city.

During the last five years, the Dev Nagar ward councillor claim to have spent more than Rs 4 crore for the development of roads and other infrastructures.

Even though the maximum share of these funds were spent to maintain roads, till date the roads are not free from potholes and cracks.

As water logging is one of the major issue in certain parts of Delhi, cemented roads were constructed in the inner colony lanes. During the monsoon season, these roads were also damaged.

However, now it is in the hands of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to ready the pothole filled roads to pave way for sooth commuting in the city.
