RWA pays for garden maintenance from its pocket!

No Comments Sub Category:Community,Municipality Posted On: Dec 27, 2011

Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) is not able to take care of a garden in Sector 14, Gurgaon.

The authority sits silent as the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) who has taken the charge of the Swarn Jayanti Park is paying for its maintenance.

As the price of all commodities is going high, similarly workers’ and gardeners’ charges have also increased. After tax deduction, RWA gets only Rs 18000 against Rs 21000 demanded for maintaining 12 parks.

Currently the park is being used by some Police personnel and the repair work promised by Huda has not started yet.
