Stagnant Sewage Water horrifies Zakir Nagar Residents life

In New Delhi at Zakir Nagar residents have raised over their voice as the stagnant sewage water is raising a stink to all the residents. The residents have been complaining to the civic authorities about the issue but none of the authorities have returned back to the residents. The rickshaw pullers in the area are complaining saying that they have been making fast buck while ferrying customers are over the puddles, reason being that the people cannot cross stretch of roads on foot instead they catch a rickshaw. He added on saying that the rickshaw people are earning more now. The stagnant sewage is making residents life difficult and also serving a breeding ground for the mosquitoes.

A Jal Board official reported saying that the Zakir Nagar is an unauthorized colony and there is no proper sewage system in this residential place. Until the government regularizes these colonies the residents have to face these woes constantly. Residents onbehalf of going to the local councilor and MLA, but nothing has been done so far. During the time of elections the representatives make false promises. However when residents want them to solve problem they are nowhere to be found for the rescue of  the residents.
