Stray dogs menace to stop in Ahmedabad
Residents of Ahmedabad can finally breath a sigh of relief!
According to latest report, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is finally ready to curb the dog menace in the city.
Four agencies have been finalised by the civic body to carry out the task of sterilising the dogs.
The agencies include Animal Help Foundation (AHF), Animal Rights Fund (ARF), Animal Protection Club (APC) and People for Animals (PFA).
Currently, the city houses around 3,15,000 dogs and within a month’s time, the task of sterilization will commence.
By going with data, around 50,000 dogs can be sterilized within a year.
