Sustainable energy used for domestic purpose in Bangalore
Bangalore- With the introduction of the domestic sustainable energy, Bangalore is one of the cities opting for it.
Most apartment complexes in Bangalore have taken up rainwater harvesting and garbage recycling technologies in the past, but the current usage of domestic sustainable energy is quite encompassing and has been increasingly used.
According to a higher official, the constant increase in the electricity rates and water shortage during summer followed by the lower quality of water from tankers and increased fuel prices have compelled residents of Bangalore to adopt sustainable technology in a wider manner.
Sustainable energy is helping in using products like solar lighting, solar photo voltaic heating products, solar powered inverters, and solar cookers. The last few months have witnessed an increased installation of all these instruments in Bangalore. However currently, solar water heaters and rainwater harvesting are no longer enough.
As per a proprietor from a Rainwater Harvesting and Filters outlet, about 70 percent of the customers are from the IT sector, as they understand the technology and prefer quality. Henceforth, if such outlets do no implement a process to gather rainwater, store it, filter it and purify it to make it reusable for residential units, there will be fewer customers.
Apart from the installation, the providers also offer sales support in the form of AMCs to build comfort between the buyers since it is a completely new and unique technology.
Other latest and new projects to enter the market are the solar powered inverters, small bio waste recycling plants, solar photo voltaic heating products and solar operated security sensors at apartment gates. Various solar product generating companies have witnessed an increase of about 200 percent in terms of their sales in the past few months.
Earlier, these products were used only by factory owners but in today’s date there has been an increase in inquires for these products from apartment owners and independent residences. These independent home owners prefer solar photo voltaic heating solutions for their units which are yet to be developed completely.
