Tata Housing comes up with the innovative idea of selling homes online: Ties up with Snapdeal
The e-commerce market is doing quite well in the last few years and is considered as one of the fastest growing sectors. However selling homes online was unheard of. However that too is going to become a reality soon. Tata Value Homes, a 100 % subsidiary of Tata Housing, has entered into a strategic partnership with Snapdeal to allow the consumers to purchase their dream homes online.
The good news is that they would together offer online booking of all the Tata Value Homes projects on the website. Snapdeal members would be able to book a home online by paying just Rs 30,000. They wanted to attract more and more customers and hence for the launch period, Tata Value would offer a benefit for a limited period to the customers who book through Snapdeal.
Under this, each customer would get Rs 10,000 per month for a year on booking any of the Tata Value Homes property on Snapdeal.com. This will bring down the burden of EMI for the home buyers till they adjust to the scores of expenses in the initial stages of buying a property. Bookings will start on August 28 at 10 am on Snapdeal.
Brotin Banerjee the CEO of Tata Housing and Tata Value Homes explained that since today India is buying increasingly on online space, Tata Housing came up with this innovative idea. Banerjee also explained that his team has done the data analysis and have seen that 70 % of Tata’s customers come from the online medium. In addition to reaching out, online also plays a big role in influencing them. The company strongly believes that India is ready to buy homes online.
