Tenders to install waste disposal management
An integrated waste management system has been decided to be installed by the Corporation of Chennai and therefore tenders are started!
The city corporation feels they need a solution apart form the over dumped Kodungaiyur and Perungudi dumping yards.
Also, tenders has been called down for the scientifically closing down the Kodungaiyur and Perungudi dumping yards.
It has been learnt that several people had made presentations in concern with managing door-to-door waste collection and street cleaning in several zones.
The work in concern with new implementing new integrated waste management system is being followed up in a fast pace as the residents are complaining about the spread of stink from dumping yards.
