The apex court has asked the BMC and Pure Drinks for a clarification
The Supreme Court last Monday has sought replies from the state. The BMC and Pure Drinks has been asked by the apex court for an amended plea for clarification of its October order against over 100 illegally constructed flats that have been constructed in six buildings at the Campa Cola compound located in Worli.
The senior counsel Shanti Bhushan appeared for Campa Cola residents. Shanti Bhushan stated that they are looking forward for a clarification of both the February 2013 and the October 2013 order that has been passed by the Supreme Court. None of the order pre includes either the BMC or the state from allowing the Campa Cola residents association any remedy under the law, including regulation of the construction under the 1967 Development Control Rules.
The Supreme Court is now waiting for a reply from the BMC and Pure Drinks. Post the reply the proceedings will be continued. This case has been continuing for a long time. The flats that have been constructed on the Campa Cola compound situated in Worli violates certain terms and laws. The BMC had filed a case against the constructors last year.
