Noida Authority is set to rehabilitate displaced nursing homes

No Comments Sub Category:Court Orders,Municipality,Other cities Posted On: Jul 27, 2012

Following the December 5, 2011 Supreme Court ruling directing all nursing homes and banks to move out of residential plots, the Noida Authority had directed them to shut operations.

However, when being approached by the displaced nursing homes, the apex court directed the Noida Authority to allot land at reasonable rates within three months.

In response, the Noida Authority has prepared an arrangement to rehabilitate the 50-odd nursing homes displaced by the Supreme Court order.

It has invited bids for non-residential plots ranging between 1,000 and 2,000 square meters across the city after the scheme was approved in the Authority’s board meeting on Wednesday.
