TMC lacks proper waste management system!
The citizens of Thane in Mumbai are looking forward for huge favors to be done from the city civic wing.
Residents have huge list of civic issues ready to present it in front of corporator.
Everyday around 600 tonnes of garbage is being generated from maximum of 18 lakh people living in Thane!
With such a huge amount of garbage piled up each day the city till date lacks proper waste management system.
The condition of roads, residents have no other go but to travel in the pothole-ridden roads. It has been recently learnt that the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has drained around Rs 5 crore of funds experimenting with many technologies to lay down good roads.
The issue does not end here, the other such city infrastructures like; Footpath encroachment, flyover and parking issues, irregular public transportation and old-illegal buildings standing scary in the city have all left the residents life worried!
With this huge list of complaint, residents have are worried as to where and why not the corporators not responding to them properly for the civic issues to be solved.
