Ghaziabad real estateAn official from Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) said that within two years the authority will build two lakh low cost housing units.

Ghaziabad is divided into two parts; old Ghaziabad and new Ghaziabad. The old area has a rich traditional background and the new area has a modern and cosmopolitan character.

Ghaziabad real estate has a good chance to boom because it is connected to national capital through five major roads.

The  infrastructural projects that are coming up in Ghaziabad are sports infrastructure, industrial infrastructure, housing development and road infrastructure, also the connectivity of metro will be extended from Dilshad Garden to New Bus Terminal by March next year.

It is also discussed within the authority that, GDA will improve the connectivity by reconstructing several roads including Pipeline Road, Karhera Bridge, Northern Peripheral Road, elevated road from UP Gate and New Link Road.

Regarding housing projects, Indirapuram has high end users and there is a good demand of housing projects. Within two years, GDA will construct two cycle corridors – one in trans-Hindon area and another in the main city. It is decided that the cycling track will be constructed in such a way that it comes up parallel to Hindon Canal and in the main city, it will come up from New Ghaziabad Railway Station to Sanjay Nagar flyover.

Besides high-end housing projects in Indirapuram, GDA plans for affordable projects also. GDA will come up with two lakh houses, in which 1BHK will cost Rs. 5 lakh and 2BHK will cost Rs. 10 lakh.

Ghaziabad is coming up with a new township which will be developed in about 10,000 acres near Pipeline road.
