No Comments Sub Category:Community,Municipality Posted On: Nov 11, 2011

The residents in Gurgaon city has been witnessing unwanted guests; monkeys and they seem to be creating lot of trouble to the people in the locality. Its a fact that the residents in few areas have paused their daily movements in the locality due to fear of these monkeys. The monkey catchers claim this animal as the most mischievous one on the earth, as they are finding tough time in catching monkeys. Especially the public gardens and parks in the city are upholding dead silence as the parents are not allowing their children to go to the parks and play and the same is with the senior citizens in all the localities. One of the resident belonging to DLF, Phase I, Kamlesh Nath reported saying that their locality has become a dangerous place and the guards seem to be helping them out to commute inside and outside.

It seems that all the residents have skipped their morning walk and since three months nearly 12 residents have got bitten from the monkeys. However according to the senior sanitation inspector of Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG), they have brought down a huge cage to catch all the monkeys in the locality and even couple of monkey catchers have been appointed and they are being paid Rs. 700 everyday for their work. Meanwhile the residents complain over the on-going and increasing monkey menace in the locality, they hope situations come back to normal at the earliest.
