Wastewater treatment to function well in Hyderabad
The implementation of sewage treatment plants (STP)’s in a good number to ensure proper follow of sewage water in the city has been a long time dream in Hyderabad.
With the implementation of 10 new STP’s in Hyderabad the city is expected to have one of the best waste water treatment process.
To ensure the same the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) is busy rushing through getting the orders signed from Union ministry of environment & forest (MoEF) clearance.
The new STP’s that will be built will be having a capacity to treat 600 million gallons a day (MLD).
Also, in the pipeline there are plans of cleaning up all the polluted rivers in the country under National River Conservation Directorate (NRCD).
