Water Board shortlists bidders for Krishna Phase-III
Hyderabad- The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has initiated the technical and financial bid regarding the initiation of the Krishna Phase-III project.
They also shortlisted firms who were present with the lowest bid amounts.
The proposed drinking water supply project under 10 packages had floated tenders by the Water Board. There were two firms who filed tenders concerning the package-I . However, KCCL-SMCIHP (joint venture) quoted lowest amount with the tender evaluation still in the process for package-II.
Package III M/s and package-IV M/s had the lowest bids, but for package-V, the firms were disqualified resulting in a re-tender by the Water Board. The other packages had the lowest bids too.The shortlisted bids were sent to the municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) department for their approval.
The work will be started with the governments approval followed by the necessary signing of the documents. About Rs 1,670 crore will be spent by the Water Board for this drinking project.
