Water mafia leaves residents of Hyderabad worried!
The Nizampet’s water mafia in Hyderabad is the talk of an hour! Each family in this locality claims to be spending Rs 4,000 a month on water alone.
There are around 70,000 and odd residents who are depending on the ground water by private contractors who are enjoying political connections.
To which the civic officials turn dumb ear! The threat alarming the residents of Nizampet is that there gradual depletion in ground water level.
Mass digging of bore wells has paved way for low down in groundwater level!
Now the summer has already kick started, here comes the actual crisis of water! There are around 700 apartments who are already ferrying around 1000 water tankers and down the lane there is no clue as to how the residents of Nizampet will manage this crisis!
