The water scarcity is one of the biggest challenge today faced by the people in Bangalore. Records have proved that the Gangotri glacier will be completely melted by the end of the year 2030. This seems to be very dangerous and such is a scarcity we are facing today. Earth has been plundered for the resources so much that the land has been addicted to pesticides. The water scarcity is in such an extent that the scientists have been predicting that the next battle will be for the water supply between two countries India and China over the river Bramhaputra.

Bangalore city is fast growing and for the developmental growth greens have been reduced henceforth resulting in  pollution and major change in the climatic conditions resulting in the scarcity of water. Today trees are menat for timber instead of using it for the survival. Infrastructure development today seems to be against the environment and this poses a greater challenge today. The change in the climatic conditions is a major prevailing issue. Snowfall has been reuced in the Himalayas which predicts major threat in near future. The fight for the healthy survival is yet to be started. Bangalore residents are on high alert to protect the environment to stop the issue of water scarcity.
