Yes, it is sad that the sites reserved by the government within corporation limits for parks and playgrounds has been encroached upon, and nothing is being done about it. So far, the governing body has only been able to take action against 15 of them, and claimed the land back. Honestly speaking, from a more rural point of view the budget is kind of generating mixed responses from the farmers. Rs 8 lakh crores of agricultural credit have been allocated to the Tamil Nadu Farmers’ Association. But all this money will be off no help because the farmers are already completely swamped in debts. They cant even avail of loans from banks, who turn them away because of this huge overdue. So this initiative is basically by the Forest College and Research Institute under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. They have even recruited a team, who is going to be selecting the perfect kinds of trees which will suit this area. They are also going over other details like soil composition, water quality, transpiration rate etc. This will help their decision in picking the correct trees for this project. Yeah you’re right. True, it is very touristy in a way you know. Make a nice home, go there and chill few times in a year. If you go around you will find the basic amenities also around. So, now because of the two even when it rains for like half an hour the roads are jammed with drainage water flowing all over the place, especially along the Nav india Signal and Lakshmi Mill junction. I cross the place almost everyday, and if you take my word for it, if you’re on a bike or any other two wheeler, you’re going to be disgusted by this water and majorly inconvenienced by all this.The issue that you are talking to is due to two things actually. Hey 3 BHK apartment in a gated community will easily cost you between 20,000 to 25,000 rupees, you’ll get very luxurious ones for more than that also but, I don’t think you’ll want to spend more than this amount on rent. Individual houses, you’ll find obviously for a cheaper price than/ these apartments. Actually, you’ll find nice ones for less than 20,000 rupees. These white puffy foam are basically hovering over the Selvampatty and Kumaraswamy lakes. So areas inside Vedapatty are not affected. Gandhipuram to my office in Ganpathy takes 40 minutes. It is very
stressful and I have to leave an hour early just to reach office in
time. I suggest you look at other localities if you have the time. And

The area ganapathy is very good for living, I am a former resident of the area. Although, most of the houses in the area are overpriced but the are a complete package.
