This will be executed along with Rs. 14 crores by IMC just to plant trees in the area. The project has 2BHK apartments which are built on areas between 999 to 1120 sq ft and priced between Rs. 23.47L to Rs. 26.31L. There are also 3BHK flats available which is built on area of 1498 sq ft, and priced at 35.20L. Apart from these, there is the option of larger 4BHK flats which are built on area of 2421 sq ft priced at Rs. 56.89L. I would say the rates are very reasonable and you should go ahead with this project. No no, don’t worry. Obviously the IMC are going to do something for these slum dwellers, although I don’t know exactly what. All I know is that the places like Panchsheel Nagar (Airport Road) will be totally slum free pretty soon. Basically the IMC are planning to clear out this area completely and create a nice park here. Palasia is probably the best place for students to move in, as the place offers good accomodation that fits in your budget and is also good in terms of connectivity. I’ll suggest that if you’re moving here, then select an apartment which is set a little higher up. Because in some cases, water has seeped into the ground floors of some houses here. The civic body are not that prepared. There even is an open manhole in these areas. We only have to look out for it when we walk in those flooded streets, because otherwise, we’ll only fall in and hurt ourselves. Sometimes those two wheelers actually fall down in the ditches and trenches. And obviously the traffic problems are there. It takes me twice as much time to reach office nowadays. Apart from Amitesh Nagar park there are lots of other parks in this area but my favorite park is right next to Pipliyapala Lake called the Regional Park and another one right next to it called Mughal Garden and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Park. So the problem here is that the old Cantonment laws from the British times are still very much in practice here. That is obviously an issue. But I wouldn't worry. I think the authorities have to convince the people that once they have piped gas they will not need LPG cylinders. Ok so the Indore developmental authority had decided at the end of last year only, to start providing affordable housing to the urban poor. Unfortunately that plan hasnt panned out so much as of now. No such housing project has been constructed since then in Indore.
