A lot of people dont know this, but there was also a Manjira lake water connection but there was never a fixed time. There was barely any water that ever used to come out of the tap. Even the monthly water bill for the residents increased from Rs 132 to Rs 212. To add to that, when it rains it makes matters so much worse. All the traffic comes to halt for what seems like hours. There's always some 'temporary' work that goes on where all the potholes are patched up. This has actually caused accidents and is a safety risk. Yeah the fact that internal roads can't have easy access to ORR is unbelievable. Especially considering that even busy national highways don't restrict access to it from land located along it. So many projects along the ORR that take up thousand of acres cannot be carried out because of this idiotic rule where there can be no access to the ORR from the side roads. But Hakimpet is close the Outer Ring Road and hence the access from these places is okay via the Outer Ring Road. Apart from that, this place does not have any civic problems like water scarcity or power cuts. Padma rao Nagar has a unique problem. having soo many trees and greenery around, there are quite a lot of monkeys in this area, which create a menace by evening time. Haha! Really. That is too much. Like those projects were over some 15 years ago and the HMWS&SB are still paying interest on loans for over 100 crore rupees of loans. The immense amount of power that was needed for this too left the board with no monwy.Really. That is too much. This is not just a simple thing. A harvesting facility must be atleast 5 to 6 feet away from the building, because if the facility is any closer.
