Roads like Vilankurichi Road, Avinashi Road, etc passes through Peelamedu. Well, these projects began in 2011. Then it was a 2 year deal between the contractor and the government. I think this was a BOT (build - operate - transfer) contract. This project took off way back in 2003 and booking process started some time in 2008.
