143 licences issued to builders in Haryana
With the model code of conduct set to kick in anytime, the Haryana state government seems to be in a hurry to issue licences to builders. Earlier this year, the Hooda government had submitted its sub-regional plan to the NCR Planning Board (NCRPB) to lift the ban on fresh licences.
The department of town and country planning (DTCP) has issued a record 134 licences in the last three months to builders across the state, which is more than the total number of licences issued in 2013. According to the data put up by the DTCP on its website, a total of 143 licences have been issued in 2014 up till August out of which 134 were issued from June to August.
The actions are being taken by the government in order to fasten the development in Haryana. This action has proved that the government is taking the matter of development on a very serious note. These works might take some time however. But this is sure to help in changing the scenario in Haryana. Around 143 licences have been belt out.
