17000 houses in Noida soon to face Power Supply Disruption

Power consumers in Noida have an alerting news from Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (PVVNL). The PVVNL has passed on an announcement that the consumers who have kept their power bill payments pending will no more be spared as the power company is on high alert and are also fed up paying on behalf of such kind of power consumers. According to the survey done by PVVNL nearly 17,000 houses in the district has been traced of pending bill payments from months together.

PVVNL officials reported saying that they had also granted grace time of three months to clear the dues, even though the consumers are never bothered to do the same. Henceforth the fed up officials have decided to disconnect all these power connections commencing from November 15, 2011. The power supply company had also launched one-time settlement scheme in concern with clearing pending revenue, however the things did not work well with the implementations of these plans. Now the fact is that the company is loosing its revenue, henceforth it has started burdening the remaining defaulters.
