25,000 one bedroom flats in DDA housing scheme

No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Aug 26, 2014

In the 2014 housing scheme of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), a big chunk of more than 25,000 flats on offer are one-bedroom flats.

If a two-bedroom or three-bedroom flat is what you desire and feel your chances are slim, here is how the DDA’s draw of lots works. While filling up the application form, the DDA will give you five options of choosing a flat of your choice in a location you prefer.

Each category of the flat in every location is assigned a unique two-digit code. While filling the form, you would have to mention these codes in the five options you are provided. It is basically a priority list of flats that you are given an option to draw. For instance, you can enter a three-bedroom flat in Mukherjee Nagar as your first choice, a two-bedroom flat in Dwarka as your second choice, a two-bedroom flat in Rohini as your third choice and so on.

The assignment of the flat will take only after the draw is complete. The DDA this time has organised a smooth flow of events in order to carry on the allotment of flats.
