Every other day there is a rise of issue concerned to improper drainage systems in all the areas across the country, no city is spared from these civic woes. According to recently connected survey by UNICEF, in India 54 per cent of India’s total population are lacking basic sewage treatment facilities. This is how the country’s sanitation is being maintained and on behalf of this the government in Mumbai is planning to draw sketch for new sanitation lines to be laid down in the city.

Jairam Ramesh the Union Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation reported saying that it does not seem as a shame when half of India’s population is not being provided with proper sanitation works as all the country’s in the world face the same. However without de-centralization of prevailing sanitation there is absolutely no point in the government implementing new system into task, says city planners. Government is sure loot fund money in the name of planning new civic infrastructures.
