No Comments Sub Category:Awareness,Community,Mumbai Posted On: May 14, 2012

One of the residents of Navi Mumbai by name Satish Lokare has designed an affordable solar system which will help functioning of home appliances as well as streetlights.

To meet the needs of Indian homes, he has imported the solar power units from abroad and modified them accordingly.

Right now, the solar system has a solar panel of 10 watts including a table fan, two lights and a control system.

Satish Lokare says that the solar products available in market are extremely expensive. So, understanding the Indian home needs and situation he claims to have developed affordable solar systems.

All the solar panels are of good quality and priced reasonably between Rs 5250 to 6500. This system ensures affordable living and it also stops energy being wasted unnecessarily.
