Allahabad traffic wardens pave way for hassle free commuting
In Allahabad, traffic conditions are talked off to be eased from the prevailing pathetic conditions. Surya Kumar Shukla, the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) recently held an active session with the traffic wardens in concern with improving the city traffic. The traffic wardens have been asked to monitor the traffic at city market places during the peak hours. Traffic wardens along with the help of policemen are passed on orders to trace the junctions which are always said to be interfering with traffic.
A brainstorming session was held by the Allahabad traffic police department at Reserve Police Line auditorium. ADG Shukla said the traffic awareness camps are planned to be held in all the areas to seek healthy participation from the public to improve the traffic conditions. Areas like; Chowk, Ghantaghar, Katra and Johnstonganj crossing in Allahabad are demanding immediate change as the traffic situations are turning worse. Mr. Shukla believes in making the traffic violators understand the after consequences of their act instead of penalizing them.
To bring this into action, the traffic policemen will explain violators the inconvenience caused to the other commuters. A small camp is said to be staged to direct the traffic wardens in controlling traffic situations at varied levels and nearly 180 traffic wardens will be initiated to control traffic at the market areas in the city.
