BBMP council meet interrupted by beating kanjiras!
Yet another saga of BBMP‘s failure, but this time with a tune!
The recent BBMP council meet was interrupted by beating of kanjiras and fights between civic body’s officials.
The meet was organized to discuss bad finances revenue, water shortage issues and other civic problems.
After all the discussions, water crisis problem took centre stage and Rs 25 lakh would be kept for the same.
The discussions went on to the mortgage of KR Market for Rs 500 crore.
It was also brought into notice that about Rs 120-130 crore could have been raised from collection of betterment fee but the civic body failed to do so.
