Budget 2012 made Real estate disappointed

Comments(2) Sub Category:Uncategorized Posted On: Mar 19, 2012

The budget has made the real estate sector disappointed. It is not only disappointing the real estate builders, but there is also no better announcement for the middle range home buyers.

With the increase of the service and excise tax, the cost of construction will increase by Rs.50 to Rs.100 per square foot.

The only good news for the builders is that foreign investment is allowed for the affordable housing projects.

Also the real estate sector did not get the industry recognition.

The liquidity crunch will remain the same for the luxurious projects. And the hike in the taxes will directly impact the builders as well as the buyers.
