CBI gives clean chit to Digivijay Singh in land allotment case of Indore
Before Lok Sabha elections, the Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh gets relief from CBI, as the agency gave clean chit to him in a 2008 case of land allotment in Indore for a mall.
The CBI, in the report, says that there were evidences found against Digvijaya. He was accused of changing the laws to allot land to Treasure Island (TI) shopping complex in Indore during his period as the chief minister of state.
The CBI has started the investigation against Digivijay on the order of Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court in 2013 and recently report was submitted before the court.
