Chinchwadgaon Pune Flyover Construction Issues
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has taken over the construction of the flyover in Pune. Meanwhile at the time of construction, three commuters have faced minor injuries due to the fall of cement blocks from the the flyover bridge. The former Congress corporator Rajabhau Golande reported saying frequent complaints have been received as the cement blocks are falling over from the bridge creating lot of damage to the residents and the commuters from Chinchwad station to Chapekar chowk road.
Dilip Kudale the co-ordinator of the engineering department reported saying that the work has been carried out in installing cement blocks which was loosing grip from the flyover bridge wall and the cement block was not aligned properly but for now perfect construction has been taken place and this flyover is said to be constructed by the end of October 2011. However the flyover construction was started during the year 2008 and was expected to be constructed within 15 months time and also delays have been witnessed ending up with the the increased cost from 15 crore to 23 crores of this budget.
