Construction of highways in New Delhi has picked up a new pace
The construction of Highways in New Delhi had laid back since years and there was hardly any development seen in the transport authority in the city. However now the walled city is far ahead with growing infrastructure, has seen a drastic improvement and today its showing a remark of nearly 11 kilometres of road being laid on the highways. Meanwhile UPA government has taken the initiative of achieving 20 km per day by the end of second term 2014. All this credit goes to the individuals who upheld the bidding of projects since 2010.
The senior ministry officials proved optimistic about the progress seen within few months and also reported saying that the construction slows down naturally during monsoon and greater outcome will be recorded during winter and summer resulting in achieving the target of building 3,570 km by the end of this year.
